Why?
The biggest advantage and feature is that the winding is made of strip pure anodised aluminium. The anodising, which is a few microns thick, is essentially an insulating ceramic layer that can withstand temperature heat loads of up to 2,800 degrees Celsius. The anodised alumina winding has what is known as a ‘self-healing effect’.
