MFDC Welding Inverter
PXC7100
Mid-frequency direct current (MFDC) welding control with 60 kVA power class — a versatile inverter for medium-duty resistance spot, projection and seam welding.

Description
The PXC7100 is a compact MFDC inverter operating at 1–2 kHz. Its 60 kVA power class and 8.9 V secondary voltage make it the workhorse of pedestal welders, robotic welding guns and modular projection welding stations. Faster current rise, better repeatability and lower energy consumption make it the natural successor to traditional 50 Hz AC controls.
Key Features
- ●Mid-frequency 1–2 kHz inverter technology
- ●60 kVA power class — covers most industrial spot welding tasks
- ●Precise current and time control for repeatable weld quality
- ●Compact footprint — easy integration into existing cells
- ●Compatible with constant-current, constant-voltage and adaptive welding modes
- ●Supports process monitoring and traceability
Application Examples
Pedestal spot welders for sheet metal assemblies
Robotic spot welding guns for automotive and white goods
Projection welding of nuts, bolts and inserts
Modular automation cells for sub-assembly welding
Retrofit of existing AC welding equipment to MFDC
